About National Scuba
EXCELLENCE IN TRAINING
National Scuba was formed in 2015 and located in Pensacola Florida. Using the drive and expertise of independent PADI instructors, National Scuba remains free from traditional dive shop influences. This freedom allows National Scuba to go above and beyond traditional dive shop training that are governed by profit, and provide that extra individualized instruction.
Small class sizes, means extra attention
Our independent instructors focus on the individual needs of each student. Classes are typically small 1-3 students and progress with each students individual abilities.
Teaching the next generation of divers
National Scuba is fortunate to have one of the most sought after youth scuba instructors in the state of Nevada and now Florida. Teaching your child to dive safely and responsibly is our number one priority.
Enjoy the fun dives
National Scuba believes diving should be fun. We schedule several free excursions throughout the year. Come join us as we dive on one of the many wrecks in Gulf of Mexico. Get up close and personal with many of the sea creatures that make appearances in the Pensacola and Florida gulf area or give us a hand helping to keep the area clean and safe for all divers.
Pensacola FL, is a port city located on Pensacola Bay. With more than 50 miles of protected shoreline, clear waters and beautiful sugar-white sand, Pensacola is a perfect destination for divers. The bay connects to the emerald-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The warm Gulf waters around the panhandle offer some of Florida’s best scuba diving. The area is a seascape of wrecks and artificial reefs all brimming with fantastic sea creatures.
Water temperatures range from the mid 50’s in winter to the mid 80’s in summer. Diver protection can range from a dive skin to a 7mm wet suit all depending on depth and current surface temperature. Visibility on most inshore dive locations is up to 50 feet with that range increasing to 100 plus feet further out to sea.
Pay it Forward
Not everyone has the means or abilities to experience the wonders of diving. You could be the person that changes someones life and opens their eyes to a world that they may otherwise never see. We all know how hard life can be and sometimes just paying day to day expenses can be a stressful challenge to say the least. Although we are not a non-profit facility, we help people as funds permit and because its the right thing to do.
